It strikes me that once Phase III trials begin there is a very substantial risk to any short position here. One of the things that I have noticed is that PIII trials that go very well are usually accompanied by alot of "word of mouth" about the anecdotal results. After all, there are lots of doctors, nurses, clinicians, etc., that see what's going on in their patients long before the data is compiled and reported. If there are impressive results this word gets out quickly...
