Who is worried about Compaq earnings?

>Munson's comments weren't as positive for Compaq Computer (CPQ). The analyst said the stock is probably a good buy in the long-term for investors, but its risk factor has increased as investors worry about the company's earnings.<

First the analysts worried about the company earnings, while their estimates are are at the most a few cents off First Call. Now the anslysts report an increased risk factor because the investors worry about the company's earnings. I think the investors are confused. They are reacting to the negative language rather than the facts here. We have the greatest circular arguments going here. If the analysts reported these facts positively we would probably be in the 40s. If we got earnings of .40 they would probably worry about a bad second quarter. THIS COMPANY NEEDS A WINNER IMAGE! Sorry for the shouting. This reporting is frustrating.

Thanks for the post, it explains why we are where we are, which is not too bad considering this report.
