But brees, the Kurds and Shiites were sold down the river long ago, just about the moment the war ended. Unless you believe Neo-con, who says that Bush expected the Kurds and Shiites to rise up and overthrow Saddam. My recollection was that they did rise up, but they didn't represent the "right" sort of uprising. You'll have to take that one up with the political theologians of the right, though.
