In my opinion, there is enough dirt in this that the shareholders ought to be willing to vote the bums out no matter which way this thing goes. Lining your pocket is one thing - despicable in its own way when shareholder value is a tertiary consideration - but when it (my uninformed opinion only) is apparently trading on inside knowledge (to the detriment of the ability of shareholders to realize value), then I would think it would be actionable. Certainly scurrilous (however you spell it - smells to high heaven).

No matter what, these actions are indefensible. Again - for legal reasons necessary to say again - my opinion only.
