Notice is hereby given that a class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas on behalf of all purchasers of the
common stock of Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE:CPQ - news) from January 27, 1999 through February 25, 1999, inclusive (the ''Class Period'').
