It looks like the end-of-quarter window dressing that I have brought up on occasion is having a real effect today...should help support the markets, too, in the next couple days (barring unforeseen troubles in Yugoslavia)...Tomorrow, no Fed hike, and, IMO, no shift in emphasis either (towards tightening)...when notes come out, and there is no shift in emphasis.....that should help the markets...

Speaking of which, it looks like things in Kosovo will not last after April, in some form or fashion..

The "fear game" is almost over. No Compaq warning today. No Intel warning. No warnings from any major tech cos....

In April, we still have the following to look forward to: (1) Japanese money, supporting healthy bond/stock markets (feeding on each other) (2) Dell analyst meeting next week (3) Compaq's 2 meetings: annual, bi-annual "big customer" (4) PC stocks catching up with rest of market (how much further is mo-mo money going to push AOL and EMC in the next couple weeks...perhaps a bit further...but then, as soon as there is a little sell-off, Dell should benefit)..
(5) Hard to imagine that news about Q2 will be worse then the bombardment of Q1 bad reports (6) Dell in final 6 weeks before earnings...historically strong ..

There is more...that's enough for now...April should be a good month.

Funny how I am hearing more and more folks coming out and stating..."Hey maybe money will KEEP flowing to big cap, top 50 stocks...like the last few years" (after the Feb/March period when the "revision-to-the-mean" types were chest-thumping and saying the big caps had had their day........HMMMM<G>
