Hey, this is something I hadn't heard before. Apple may now be up to $1 million a day from the Apple Store. I believe that's Dell's 1997 rate, which is pretty good and helps margins a lot.

<<Apple is also beefing up its sales via the Web, adding online sales
capabilities in Japan, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Belgium, France,
Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Austrialia.

Apple is not commenting on online sales numbers, but some analysts
are saying Apple is selling at least $1 million a day online.>>

I thought Apple would hit that mark a little quicker, but it appears that online business is now really picking up.

As far as the quarterly eps go, we have to remember that Apple needs to keep the channel full of G3s so that adds a few weeks worth of sales that we didn't have last quarter. ASAIK.
