They probably won't get any really big names like the ones you mentioned for a while, simply because all the big names are locked up with the big 5 recording companies. Over time, though, smaller names that start out with GDNO will become big and, along with their recognition, GDNO's recognition will rise as well.

That's probably the one flaw with GDNO as a stock pick: for them to ever be perceived as mainstream music ecommerce play, they need to get strong titles, but for the strong titles to come, they need to be seen as a mainstream music ecommerce play, the ole catch 22.

GDNO mgmt will have to pull of a serious coup in terms of brand-name musicians, but it seems like if there's a mgmt team capable of such a thing, it's the folks at GDNO.

BTW, I was in at 7 for 5000 shares, out at 13, back in at 15, then out at 17, and still out. I'm feeling like a sh_thead for having taken quick profits, but since then I'm doing just fine with BNYN, another undernoticed-but-not-for-long ecommerce play.
