Kha vu, PTEN, UTI, DO, HAL, and CHV are my oil stocks I trade and invest in. Started to buy CHV, DO, HAL March 1st. PTEN and UTI started on March 25th. I held back on PTEN and UTI until late March cause I wasn't convinced the domestic oil/gas companies would rally along side the offshore drillers. UTI has been basing between 8 1/2 and 9 for a week. It finally broke out of that channel on 3/26. I'm no expert on Oil and I'm still worried we may not get full compliance from the cheating OPEC members, but this sector has been beaten down 60 - 80% in some cases. It was, IMHO, time to safely start buying when OPEC confirmed the production cuts. So, I went bottom-fishing in the oil barrel. LOL !! Now the question is how long will this party last for. OPEC members have promised production cuts before and we saw what happened. Same thing could happen again. Tom
