I worry, but I am not sure. Only Belarus, and perhaps Ukraine, are particularly candidates for re- unification, and they were discussing the possibility anyway. Also, I am not sure how anti- American they can afford to be. But I agree with the general point, that we should have been more careful to have involved the Russians, and much earlier...
