Xentor's beefed with a 183Mhz memory clock speed, and 125Mhz chipset clock
speed
Notice how it has 183MHz memory speed, but only 125MHz chipset speed. When
Tom previewed it, the 183MHz memory model had a 150MHz chip speed. Looks
like nVidia is truely remaining true to form, hyping overclocked pre-release silicon,
then shipping an over priced, clocked down model.
I'd like to see Tom redo his preview into a review with real shipping silicon and see
how it compares to the V3.
In an update, here's what CGW's Loyd Case had to say about this:
I'm guessing the information on the Xentor 32 was taken off the EB World web site. I
spoke with Guillemot a couple of days ago. That information was supplied to EB
some time ago, prior to Nvidia's announcement of the TNT2. According to
Guillemot, the core clock of the Xentor 32 will be higher than 125MHz, but the final
clock hasn't been determined yet."
