Re: I wonder when we can expect quarter earnings? Q1 ends March 31st. Any ideas?

hi Timothy, if you are looking for earnings of a quarter I think you are in for a long wait. I'm guessing Global Crossing reports a loss of about $.02 per share for the quarter ending March 31, 1999.

As for the date that the company will release First Quarter Results, maybe you could call the company and ask. If that is too much trouble, you could email them. Or, since you live in the same city as one of their offices, ride your scooter over.

Whatever method you choose, most likely the reply will be something like: "We haven't chosen a date yet, but towards the end of April."
(For Options players: that is after the 3rd Friday)

I think the 1998 Annual Report (with lots of glossy pictures) will be mailed (and will be available for download on the improved web site) the week of April 18th.
