j.oil I haven't visited this forum for a while. I hope I'm wrong, but I think that you will see a very different scenario unfold than you are picturing. Nobody can afford to wait six months in this climate for PMT to start moving. I'll admit that I was a little shocked at the news as well, but Bunker Hill is a remarkable mine and Placer Mining has been quietly cleaning it up and getting it ready for a buyer. It looks to me like Plata was in the right place at the right time. Plata can raise the money, I would assume at different levels of financing. They are going to want to see the price rise so they are going to do everything that they can to build value into this company. I'm getting more and more comfortable with this as an investment in the present market. Don't forget there's a lot of silver to come out of this mine as well as zinc and lead. If Plata can raise their production levels there is a lot of money to be made in this mine and we still don't know what they are planning to do with the other properties. spinner
