My guess is that within 12 months, MSFT will have announced that it will use Linux as the basis for a new OS, or will have a 64Bit OS that has a kernal that is stable,(i.e. designed by someone like Sun)! Brilliant! Either you are brilliant, or MSFT is brilliant, depending on whether they do something with Linux. Writing apps for Linux would be an incredible step. Why not?
