Downsouth, Writing aps for linux? Are you kidding? That is like shooting yourself in the foot. They would not have a Linux version of Office Suites until Windows2000 is well established as a necessary product in the corporate world just like Office. The only reason they have a Mac-Office is due to the court settlement with Apple. They will not help any emerging OS that could be a threat to Windows or NT. Just my opinion---I am no computer expert.
