Well, so far I have run a bridge game and quicken 99 as well as some of the standard windows apps. Everything runs well. No problems with installation or crashes. I have yet to see Sotwindows crash the machine. Actually, I have yet to see the iMAC crash period. I am transferring files from the PC to the iMAC using the imacfloppy.com web site. This is limited to 3MB per transfer but is adequate for documents. So one really does not need a floppy anymore.

I will install Word and Excel from Office 97 next week sometime. That will be the extent of my need for Windows.

The only thing that seems slow is moving around and opening folders. Once you have an application launched, it seems to run just fine with respect to speed. But I am not doing anything that is very compute intensive.

One limitation is that the softwindows drive sizes are limited to 505MB for some reason. So you just need to create more than one drive if you need more space. I think everything I am doing will fit on the C: drive.
