For those of you interested in screening filters and being able to see where the action is, I would like to mention the following: For trade station and radar station: www.omegaresearch.com for Realtime Idea Machine: www.profsoftware.com/rim/ for live wire by cable soft: www.livewire-cablesoft.com for AIQ Trading Expert: www.aiq.com Find out for yourself which brokers and what execution programs allow you to employ these filters that provide you with real time filtering. Ask your broker to put it in writing if they claim that their in-house filter is not delayed. On the basis of what I have seen so far, brokers who use Real tick III and Redi Plus software are compatible with third party software, and not cyberbroker. In addition, make sure you ask and have cyberbroker to put it in writing that their hi/low and approaching hi/low filter is not delayed. My experience with cyberbroker showed 4 to 5 minutes delay. You can measure that for yourself by comparing the time that stock hits a new high or low with the time that the symbol actually appears on the filtering window, supposedly alerting you of a money making opportunity.
