OT: Funny thing, Jim, I had a friend of mine who asked me about the best way to short the market, as he felt a down turn was on the way. First I mentioned puts, then selling short the sector spyders or SPY or QQQ. He's not the most sophisticated guy, so he opted out to go short SPY. Found out the volatility is not as great as he would have thought. QQQ is a lot higher beta, giving bigger moves.
