James I also respect your right to believe as you choose. Of course belief and truth are wrong many times. However, when belief extends beyond reason, then I see no harm in discussing reasons. I think if you will be fair when you post messages like yours you are trying to convince others and reinforce your own beliefs. There are too many of us whose Ego will permit us to say we could be wrong. Either of us could. Truth does not beg questioning and will stand up under all questions. Half truths make for the biggest lies. The fact is we both accept Christ as our Savior. Where we split is over the definition of Christ. I contend Jesus was human just as we are. I contend that Christ is God's spirit in all matter including energy. The fact that you may not understand this is a matter of spiritual developement. I lived over half my life wikth belief similar to yours. I joined the church, was baptized and tried to emulate what I thought Jesus would do. Out of the blue God revealed truth to me just as he did to Paul. And just as the new covenant states. I am his son just as much as Jesus could have been. I may not have lived as Jesus did but more like the prodigal son. This revelaation is truth that will bear all types from your inner being. It becomes knowledge rather than belief. It's difficult to understand for people who have learned from tradition and environment to accept anything that contradicts them. I did not learn from all my years as a student in a bible school (David Lipscomb)or from church. All those years were preparing me for the truth I would receive. We all evolve from animal matter to unite as one with God. You stated, "may his son convict you." Well any conviction or forgiveness does come from his son. As his son I know well the laws of sin and forgiveness. I forgive you this mean statement as I truly BELIEVE <ggg> it was said in anger. I too fail in many ways of emotions such as anger but am working on it.
