This is about control, power, & money. Make the resource rich owe them. they profit from the 1) the gold loans + 2) the interest on IMF loans paid by the resource rich + 3) our taxes suporting the whole mess politicians = crooks or dummies (matters not which, same result) Good news is, this shows how bad it would be to let government invest in the stock market, if they are willing to sell gold near an all time low.
