2nd commercial definitely not as funny as the 1st. Although the X-Ray of the skull with a V3 chip visible on the frontal lobe made me chuckle.

I wouldn't call this ad particularly offensive but on the back page of the latest Voodoo magazine is a 3dfx ad that made me squirm. The picture is a very realistic crash scene with bodies strewn about in poses that any Quake player would be familiar with. A software engineer is bent over 1 body trying to determine how the victims eyeball was affected by the impact. It was too realistic for me and by the time I understand the joke I didn't feel like laughing.

Thankfully this mag only preaches to the converted.

PS: I think that a knight, having had all his limbs hacked off and is nothing more than a blood splurting torso, yelling at his opponent to come back for a thrashing (a la Holy Grail) is hilarious, so go figure.
