LANGHORNE, Pa., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Garrett U. Cohn, President of DIGITAL DESCRIPTOR SYSTEMS, INC. (OTC Bulletin Board: DDSI) (DDSI), a leading designer and marketer of digitized imaging systems for the criminal justice and security markets, today announced that it has filed an international patent application for Compu-Scan, its contactless fingerprint capture device.
"This international patent application will enable DDSI to ultimately obtain patents in 100 countries throughout the world. The filing of the international patent application is an important step in protecting the technology underlying Compu-Scan and provides a basis for its worldwide marketing.
