Hiya,
Spelling has never been my forte, but I think that's right.
As far as the ritual involved with Scotch, I don't really know. I am a totally uneducated whisky drinker <g> I tasted my first whisky about twelve years ago and, simply put, liked it. (An ex girlfriend of mine was a copious whisky drinker, hmmmm, memories...)
I like the single malts best, straight up with four or five blocks of ice. I prefer to use ice made out of natural spring water because I don't like the municipality water. The smell is as much part of the taste as the liquid itself.
For binges, I drink J & B with soda and ice. J & B is a very light (in colour) whisky and is not "rich", so it is easy to drink a lot of it...
There, I have just offended Rudedog's genteel whisky drinking sensibilities, I'm sure.... It takes all sorts, I guess.

(I'm outta here, it's about 19h55 here and Heidi will have the red wine chilled and the pasta ready. (It's my evening to be spoiled, you see). |
