March 29, 1999 - We are at 431 meters today. There are many new quartz zones with good
sulfides in all boxes. Box 101 contained 8 zones, box 102 has 16 zones, 103 has 10, 104 has 1,
105 has 7, 106 has 6 and a partial box 107 has 2 so far. Each box may contain 4 to 5 meters
of core.
Box 101 quartz width in centimeters include: 10, 10, 1, 5, 2, 10, 30, 1; Box: 102 20 (with six
gold sightings), 3, 5, 3, 3, 12, 2, 1, 1, 10, 7, 10, 2, 1, .5, 10; Box 103: 30 (which is a
continuation from the last 10 in Box 102), 5, 3, 6, 2, 20, 20, 10, 7, 30; Box 104: 10; Box 105:
1, 1.5, 1.5, 1, 1.5, 3, 2.5; Box 106: 4, 2, 10, 1,1,1; Box 107: 4, 20.
Tomorrow we should reach total depth of 450 meters and stop there for now. Switching later
to the BQ core size and continuing as the results dictate. The rig will be moved to hole #6 site
and the casing set on Wednesday.
Thursday there will be no drilling. The manifold on the main drilling engine needs changing so
the men will do that Thursday morning with a cooled down engine. We will then shut down for
the Easter weekend and not re-start until Tuesday after Easter. Easter Monday is a holiday in
Canada.
