Brian.....

I invest in stocks as well as trade them. It's that simple. I can be long a stock, because I believe in the fundamentals of the company, and the value will eventually be reflected in the stock price. I can trade the stock until such an event occurs. Understand?

For example, I could be long 1000 shares of OO, and I am willing to hold onto it for as long as I feel appropriate. Now, on top of that I trade the stock in the short term and make money. Got it? It makes no sense to trade OO right now because there are better plays out there! So I am holding my long position in OO and trading other stocks.

If your investment style is purely based on technical analysis, then why even waste time to read the thread? You should be able to look at the chart of a stock, support/resistance, moving avg., elliot waves, etc. etc and make a trading decision based on that information. No fundamental analysis goes into your decision whether or not to buy/sell the stock.

We've wasted enough bandwith. I trade stocks as much as I invest in them. I perform due dilegence as much as I look and analyze charts. Let's all start making some money now...
