I do have concerns regarding the proposed land sale. Are there special requirements in Brazil regarding who can own land in fee title? Can Madera convey clear title to the land? What constraints attach to the land that would affect it's market value? My hunch is that the land sale is a very complex and low probability event for WOOD. On the other hand, the dollar/real cross would seem to be a multiplier for Maderas profits. Maybe you can't use domestic measures to quantify how well they are doing if each dollar earned has expanded value in their operational region.
