The service is pretty bad at most of the CPU's that I've been to as
well. So, I think it's not just a local problem. However, with as
many stores as CPU operates, it's only natural that at least a few
of them are going to have service problems. Has anyone had
experience with ones that have good service?

CPU service, while bad, doesn't even compare to that of Best Buy.
Their service here in Atlanta is horrible. It seems like every
time I go in there, they have only two lanes open and seven to ten
customers waiting in each lane. I've seen this more times than I
care to remember.

So, bad service alone isn't going to sink CPU. The loss of market
share, lower margins, and generally perceived decline of demand in
the computer industry are the real killers.

I very much disagree with the "buyout" crowd. CPU will have to turn
things around themselves for the stock to go up, in my opinion.

disclaimer: long CPU
