Totally Hip CEO: LiveStage Tour going great Staff Report, email@maccentral.com March 30, 1999, 11:45 am ET
The LiveStage Tour is going "great," says Totally Hip's chairman and CEO, Randall McCallum, who adds that he's "never been so busy."
But wait, let's back up. Totally Hip is the company behind LiveStage, software that utilizes QuickTime and offers an extensive set of features for producing interactive content for use in e-commerce advertising, education and training, online games, and more. The ongoing LiveStage tour is sponsored by Apple and features LiveStage from Totally Hip Software and QuickTime from Apple.
Those attending the seminars learn how to use LiveStage to unlock the power of Interactive QuickTime for the Internet. The series is aimed at Web developers, Web masters, multimedia content developers, training content developers, educators and business managers interested in maximizing the use of the Internet to distribute their message and grow their business. For more info or to register go to seminars.apple.com.
Several seminars have already been held. Still to come are the sessions in New York, NY (April 1), Toronto, ON (April 6), San Francisco, CA (April 21), Santa Monica, CA (April 22), Seattle, WA (April 29), Vancouver, BC (May 6), Dallas, TX (May 25), Houston, TX (May 27), Chicago, IL (June 1), and Minneapolis, MN (June 2).
"The momentum is picking up," says McCallum. "The West coast tour that starts on April 21 is getting booked solid in San Francisco and LA and the other cities. The sessions in Atlanta, Reston (Washington), and Philadelphia last week went great, and the crowds get bigger and bigger."
Watch for some super cool examples of Interactive QuickTime on MacCentral in the very near future. |
