Some factors on the stock price(IMHO): 1. X-metals and new product lines- hopefully the consumer is willing to spend the money on some new sunglasses. From what I understand, the X-metal line isn't "recreation" type glasses. More fashion oriented. 2. Sunglass Hut - They need to improve their business, keep inventory of OO high and maintain a good sell-through rate. OO need to look at other distribution channels as well, which they are doing. 3. Seasonality - Spring/Summer is sunglass time. More people are active outdoors mountain biking, rollerblading, etc. OO glasses are de riguer in these circles. Just hope we don't have a record rain season! 4. International Sales - Need to increase sales on the international front, esp. Europe. The Olympics helped OO in the 3rd Q. No such luck now. 5. Any bullish comments from the street would help of course. Also some professional atheletes wearing Oakley's would increase exposure (like MLB players; I see them wearing Oakley's all the time). Investors long the stock are going to have to wait at least a couple of quarters to get back to last summers levels. This past quarter's weakness will be felt somewhat for the next quarter or two.
