You are my kind of libertarian! But I do think we need greater protections. I was horrified at the treatment that Monica Lewinsky received at the hand of Kenneth Star, and was doubly horrified to learn that these tactics are routinely used by prosecutors. Maybe the ACLU is our kind of libertarian outfit?

I don't know how, we need to keep most of the hopelessly lazy out of that support system.

I don't think it's that difficult. You put people to work and at the same time provide them with marketable skills. Either the work exists in the private sector and requires government subsidies (no one can subsist on a minimum wage), or it exists through government job creation. I envision these efforts as safety nets, not entitlements.
