CYOE - RE: Uptick rule: Can someone help me out with the uptick rule? If I (with ETrade) tell them to sell short at market, will they be responsible for ensuring the uptick rule is met? How much of an uptick do we need? If last sale was on the bid, would my sale at the ask be an uptick? How about if I go between the bid and ask? Thanks for your patience!
