I didn't know Smiths sold out. It was pretty good eats there. I always bought some goodies at the shop they ran. It's been two years since I was there. About 2 blocks west of there and a block north is the Port Hotel. Really good steaks, the kind that make you say damn the cholorestral, gimme a big one. Captains Quarters tavern, downtown, served a good burger. Arnies?? across from the Captains had good fish. Great trout almondine. We used to stay at the Best Western downtown and walk everywhere.

Went to the river today. Couldn't find many fish but it was in the mid 70s and sunny. Even got a touch of sunburn, remember what that is? Fun to run the boat without shivering.
