Any geo types: I dug this up from a press release dated Wednesday 24 September 1997, <<<Marum has previously reported the existence of indicator minerals in the area and the recovery of two clear microdiamonds from a trench sample of a Cretaceous age sedimentary rock outcrop located on one of its Chinchaga Craton properties.>>>

While it is my understanding that these microdiamonds were discovered on Marum property SOUTH of the current exploration targets. Would this not bode well for the propensity of the area to produce diamonds? Can you explain the significance of these microdiamonds being found in sedimentary rock outcrop? If they are embedded in sedimentary rock, does this mean that they are endogenous to the area or could they still have been transported and deposited by glaciation? Pardon my use of laymans terms but as I understand it there are three alternatives. (or are there more?) 1. They are deposited by water(lake bottom, stream....) 2. The are bulldozed to site via glacier. 3. They are locally sourced from diamond host rock. If anyone who was following Marum in those days can lend any clarification or insight to the significance of the discovery of these microdiamonds at that time and whether this has any significance with regards to ongoing current exploration it would be appreciated!
