Hubert, I'm another refugee from PPML. Of course, all I've been doing there is eavesdropping. Having not yet been diagnosed with PCa, I dare not post. However, with BPH, and a PSA of 8, I thought a little education and information gathering was in order.

No problem getting to this thread. I've been hanging around SI for some time now, mostly on CDMA/QUALCOMM/LORAL related threads.

Your posts to PPML have been pretty entertaining. My own experience makes me think the ultimate responsibility for medical decisions is with the patient. The patient will likely be disappointed (and perhaps mis-diagnosed and mis-treated) if he just assumes his MD is competent and will act in the patient's best interest. Fee for service medical care is an automatic conflict of interest.

I'll bookmark this thread and drop in from time-to-time.
