EST New York, March 30 (Bloomberg) -- The American Petroleum Institute's weekly report on U.S. oil inventories and production has been delayed until after 6:30 p.m. U.S. Eastern time, because of technical difficulties, an API spokesman said. The API report is normally released at about 5 p.m. Oil futures trading on the floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange closes at 3:10 p.m. and electronic trading begins at 4 p.m. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- © Copyright 1999, Bloomberg L.P.
