Josef, if my sources can be relied on, this funphone technology is truly unique, apparently, the FUN is the acronym for "Filamentary Unitary Network". I do not know the exact details (I think they are still in the process of filing patents and are very cagy about the technology slipping into public domain), but from what I gathered, virtual filamentary elements (akin to those encountered in "String Theory) create a unitary network in a parallel universe, each filamentary element being in essence a micro wormhole. As a result, not only can the data transmission rate exceed the terahertz range, but the speed of transmission exceeds the equivalent velocity of light between nodes in the network.

On of the major breakthroughs to be expected involve the interface between filamentary elements in the parallel space and the current space (current space being,, of course the simple four dimensional space we leave in).

Early subscribers will be able to use the funphone to connect to the internet and down load data that are going to be on the internet few weeks hence. In an experimental excursion like that, they claim that they were able to discern a "Spring Relapse" sometime next month. Unfortunately, few technical problems at the nodal interfaces caused some degree of data corruption in the transmitted stream. They are well on their way to correct these minor technical problems.
