More like "Scary" to me. Since these massive price drops have occurred before the Q has ended, I don't even want to imagine how bad ASPs could possibly be. (Hope that answered your question Yousef.)

The only notable thing is that now the K6-2 450's price has started to fall while the K6-III 400's price is stable and the K6-III 450 is still non-existant through vendors. My guess is this shows more K6-2 450s are being made while K6-III 400s are still being ramped up. (Of course, this all depends on how long it takes to make and package the processor. For all we know, K6-III 450s could be pumping out of Austin but they won't be ready until however long it takes.)

I wish AMD would follow Chrysler's lead. Chrysler releases a press release each week stating how long each manufacturing plant will run that week. AMD could post how much of each speed of processor they plan to make. Maybe this is something that could come out of a lawsuit settlement...
