Thanks for posting. you're #1!!
To answer your points:
1.Greenline webbroker trading fees are:
- share price $2 or less - 1.5% of the trade, Can$29.00 minimum.
- share price over $2 - flat fee of $29 for orders up to 1,000 shares.
- 3 cents per share for orders greater than1,000
- shares.
For US$ trades - the same fee schedule applies, with minor variations.
This is about the average for fees, for the major e players in Canada, I understand.
2. I have often had orders filled within a couple to five minutes of submitting the order. I am sure an e broker in the US is the faster one, in getting to the US markets. Question for you, how fast do e brokers in the US complete trades on CANADIAN exchanges?
3. Want to share the name and web site of the US broker?
4. I thought US brokers will not sign you up unless you have an US account address?
Thanks for your interest. Don.
