If the appropriate active crossover frequency were used in conjunction with a non-coincident driver, that shouldn't be a problem. Consider a Linkwitz-Riley alignment with Butterworth filters, and you'll see that an in-phase fourth-order slope at around 24 dB/octave should cancel any extraneous remote input device interference.

But this is just a guess, coming from a humble webgeek. Actual mileage may vary.
