Both reports are probably true. The day before NATO operations commenced, a Russian AN-124 Condor was stopped by authorities in Azerbaijan in route to Serbia carrying 6 Mig-29's. Russia insisted that it was all a mistake and the Migs were intended for North Korea, instead. (Yeah, right That's why they were flying towards Belgrade.).

Since the first day of NATO operations, the Russian army brigade in Bosnia supporting the NATO peacekeeping effort has withdrawn from the peacekeeping force and established autonomous operations in Bosnia. Some observers say they appear to be conferring with Bosnian Serb officials on a daily basis. So much for our "new understanding" with Russia. It's time we gave Clinton his pension, called midterm elections and got a real Commander in Chief before Cold War, Round II kicks into full gear.
