"99/03/30, 10:16pm - Some info on VIA's new Apollo Pro Plus 133. According to KH's translation, it "supports 133 FSB and PC-133, beating Intel to the punch. It's expected to come out this quarter. Many mobo makers already have samples in their hands and are waiting to ship their corresponding mobos based on Plus 133 once VIA starts mass shipping the chipset. VIA's working together with Micron, NEC and Samsung in showing off the PC-133 capable system."

"99/03/30, 10:02pm - A warning to AX6B motherboard users: According to this page, the AX6B has some sort of problem regarding running with a Pentium III. Incidentally, I did some preliminary funning with that K6-2-300XT. I've gotten it to boot into Windows at 500MHz (!) and POST at 550MHz (!!). I kid you not. I mean, there are other brands of 300MHz chips that can do this sort of thing with ease [cough], but it probably is a good sign for AMD that their lowest end chips can show tolerance above their highest end chips' clock rates. I guess this means I'll be waiting in anticipation -- I have heard, by the way, that there's supposed to be a 475MHz K6 core product coming out soon (like next month)."
