Short at will these dogs,--- Outside of limited benefits from the consolidation and addition of their visability on leading commerce sites, they can not be saved by a mere yellow page ad and link, which is essentially what all these links and membership merchant hypes crack up to be. Remember BFLY what a hype and disaster for some investors that bought into that crap on affiliation . Another buy your way in to riches story/.
Take a look at the yellow pages on your desk beside your phone,, alot of thick cumbersome pages with an inumberable lot of companies, mom and pop included,, you dont give a rats ass about,,you rarely use it right,,? Once the public sees how flooded this hyped up market is with the buzz word auction they will realize that there is no way these 2nd 3rd tier stocks are going to make it as they are now becoming a dime a dozen and scurring about desperately looking for ways to survive. Kind of like in the movie The Terminator when that liquid terminator was dumped into a cauldron of hot liquid metal,, he metamorphisized into a million characters before finally disintegrating into nothing. These pesky companies stock prices will eventually follow suit.
Amzn has a chance as a leader in ecommerce,, but all the leaches that keep trying to buy their way in with the big boys are destined to fade away and on their way into oblivion will probably undergoe business focus changes and name changes to meet the current fad of the month for the stock market. Not all that different from cheap BB stocks disappearing and reemerging into unknown shell companies. They are becoming companies driven fundamentally by their stock prices and public perception. That is dangerous for long run viablity.
Perception has the tendency to change at the flip of a coin when you least expect it. Things like a controlled military policing action turn into a full scale war for example and the public says gee what and how did that happen?. Name changes and new business focus is not so bad by itself, but in a normal world stock prices often reflect apprehension about sudden changes. In this distorted world it seems different, but as they say in spanish al pan pan y al vino vino. It is what it is.
I think what we are witnessing is the last gasping breath of the low quality crap of the retail internet sector. Im bullish on audio, voice and visual transmission technologies though,, i think that is the next huge winner in the sector.
Whose it gonna be T VOCLF WPNE MSFT csco coms ..etc,, i dont know but it will be enormous. |
