MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 29, 1999--Geac Computer Corpor(TSE:GAC. - news) Geac Computer Corporation Limited Monday announced the appointment of Mr. Douglas G. Bergeron as President, Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors of the corporation, effective April 26, 1999.

He is a computer science graduate of York University (1983) and the University of Southern California (1987).
