Here is the CV of the insider that bought the 375,000 shares of ASPT: Norman A. Fogelsong.

Mr. Fogelsong has been a director of ASPT since September 1985. Since March 1989 he joined Institutional Venture Partners as a General Partner in 1989 after spending nine years as a General Partner at Mayfield Fund. At Mayfield he led the firm's investments in Aspect Telecommunications, Compaq, Convex Computers, and Lam Research, and also participated in the firm's founding investments in Applied Biosystems, Cypress Semiconductor, Linear Technology, LSI Logic, MIPS, Quantum,Silicon Graphics and 3COM. Prior to joining Mayfield Fund, Mr. Fogelsong was a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Co. and a Computer Systems Analyst at Hewlett-Packard.

Having invested extensively in computer hardware, computer software, semiconductors and telecommunications, Mr. Fogelsong now serves IVP as a Venture Partner, emphasizing special situation investments in management spinouts, later stage situations and selected public market opportunities. At present he serves on the Boards of Directors of Aspect Telecommunications (ASPT), Concur Technologies (CNQR), Decisionism, Integrated Circuit Works, Objectivity, and Success Factors.com, and has been actively involved in the IVP investments in Platinum Software, Polycom and Telcom Semiconductor.

Mr. Fogelsong has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

A decision from this type of person is a thumbs up for investing in ASPECT at these prices. We need some patience though....
