Are you getting any warm air up there yet? Is the ice breaking up? Canoe out of storage? Do tell. Here it's middle of dry season; I do some paddling on the ocean, but I miss my rivers and I'm waiting eagerly for the rains. It's still relatively cool for the season, fair bit of cloud and a little unseasonable rain - not enough to lift the rivers, but signs that the predictions of an early, wet, monsoon may be accurate. I hope so, though the beach crowd thinks I'm nuts. Been talking to some Manila-based ocean paddlers that are starting to get into white water; I may even have some company this year. Steve
