You ask a little much of the ACLU --- if you agree on any of their positions give them money to support your causes. Do you think ACLU has an obligation to define the 2d Amendment as civil liberties as you do? Many people view the 2d as a "civil right" -- but hardly a human right. No one but the U.S. defines the right to keep and bear arms (the legal meaning of which is subject to dispute -- but not to the Supreme Court) as a human right. If you think the 2d is important, give money to the NRA (or someone smarter) to support your cause.
