HEADS UP - march 16 99 news release by CMDF ( medical venture capital), who announced they had converted Can.$2 million debentures plus accrued (ie unpaid interest)in stock at the conversion price of $2. total number of new shares = 1,053,733. Representing a teen% interest. I regard this as very positive - a stock holder is a more stable position to take - than holding a debenture. Obviously, the market does not like this - OR - surprise, surprise, there are some TSE types are either selling or drawing out stock which is in weak hands. This morning, pre-opening on the TSE: 3 bids, low is $1.75 ( yes, that is one dollar, seventy five) and 13 asks, with a high of $2.75. A real buying opportunity exists at this time, IMHO. Don.
