Thom, I am no longer a novice investor, but I don't consider myself very experienced either. When I was a novice, the single biggest mistake I made was to listen to someone else without doing my own research. Almost invariably, I bought too high, and sold too low. Even my recent experience with ANCR makes me question whether my fundamental analysis of the company was correct. When in doubt, stay out. Don't just accept my numbers. Do your own checking, because I can mistakes too. When you get burned a couple of times by listening to people that provide more heat than light, you will no longer be considered a novice. <g> Craig
