I was in a WAlMart looking at color inkjet printers and was pleasantly surprised to find Lexmark color injet printers aimed at the home market. In fact, their printers were lower in price than the HP and Cannon printers. I have a question though, there was an indication that the Lexmark was a "thermal" printer. Are these low-end printers, in fact, thermal? and do they require special paper? I saw a real competitive edge price-wise, but was a little concerned that the printer required special paper that would put them at a disadvantage. Can anyone answer this question for me?
