I know some of the people and then the rumors of Intel (don't believe) and others like that. There are several new ventures out there who need a fab. I agree the tool set alone is probably in the 600 -700 million range. But any money back is a step ahead. Looks like all of the tech stock started off well. LSI is up over 4, TXN over 2 and MU 1 1/2. After yesterday I would think there should be a lot of activity.
